Library and Information Centre
Established in 1993, the RPA Library is housed on the third floor in a spacious and well-ventilated block. It includes a dedicated reading room and a reference section, serving as a central information hub for students and faculty of various departments.

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

General Instructions:
Strict silence must always be observed
Books can be borrowed only on specified days for each class
Library cards are mandatory along with the college ID for borrowing books
Late returns will incur a fine of ₹1 per day
Lost or damaged books must be replaced or paid for by the borrower
Sub-letting of books is strictly prohibited
Library Services & Facilities:
1. Circulation Service:
The library’s collection is fully automated using Koha ILMS. All items and member
records are barcoded for efficient transaction and tracking.
2. Reference Service:
With over 2,000 reference sources, this section provides resources for academic and
research purposes. Seating is available for 100 students and 20 staff.
3. SC/ST Book Bank:
An exclusive collection provided by Bangalore University for SC/ST students.
4. Add-On Course Books:
Books related to various add-on courses offered by the college are available for
reference.
5. Reprographic Services:
Photocopying facilities are available at nominal charges.
6. Information Alert Service / Newspaper Clipping:
Important updates, circulars, and news are displayed on the library notice board.
7. INFLIBNET N-LIST Membership:
Access to 6,000+ e-journals and 1,25,000+ e-books is provided through this national
program.
8. Institutional Repository:
A digital archive of faculty research, articles, conference papers, and presentations,
developed using Koha Digital Library Software.
9.Jnana Dasoha Book Bank:
A set of prescribed syllabus books are issued to economically weaker and meritorious students.
