Established in 1993, the English Department at RPA FGC has been playing a crucial role as it contributes to students’ academic, professional, and personal growth for over 32 years. It typically focusses on developing students’ language proficiency, literary appreciation, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Objectives
- Language Development
- Improve vocabulary, grammar, and fluency in spoken and written English.
- Develop academic and professional writing skills, including essay writing, reports, and research papers.
Aims
To enhance students' proficiency in the English language (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
To cultivate a deep understanding and appreciation of English literature across different genres and historical periods.
To develop critical thinking and analytical skills through the study of literary texts.
To improve communication skills for academic, professional, and social purposes.

Literary Appreciation
Introduce students to classical and contemporary English literature.
Analyze literary works from different cultural and historical contexts.

Critical Thinking & Analysis:
