NATIONAL CADET CORPS
The NCC Unit of our college, affiliated with 1 Karnataka Battalion, is led by Dr. Lt. Somashekara R. The unit actively engages in national and social service programs, contributing to the holistic development of cadets.
Highlights of Activities (2016–17 & 2024–25):
Republic Day Camp, New Delhi (2016):
Cadet Om Prakash (B. Com) participated in the PM’s Rally and Guard of Honour on 26th January.
Independence Day 2016:
Cadets performed March Past as part of the celebration on August 15.
Inter Group Competition (2023):
Cadets participated in the IGC organized by NCC Directorate Karnataka & Goa at Mysore.
National Integration Camp (2024):
Cadets attended the camp organized in Tamil Nadu by NCC Directorate Karnataka & Goa.
Blood Donation Camps (August & September 2024):
Organized in collaboration with Lions Club and Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore Udyog.
CATC / IGC – II (October 2024):
Cadets participated in training programs conducted by 1 KAR BN NCC Bangalore.
PRCN Course, Nagpur:
Held from 29th July to 11th October 2024.
Weapon Training (2024):
Cadets were trained in basic weapon handling.
TSC Camp Selections (2024):
Participation in the selection camp for Thal Sainik Camp.
Army Mela (2025):
Cadet representation in the Army Mela event.
Tree Planting Drive & Swachh Bharat Abhiyan:
Cadets actively contributed to environmental and cleanliness drives.
